The talk will critically review the inroad that
WCET research results have made into industrial
practice, taking the (aero)space domain as the
angle of view, from the vantage point that the
speaker has enjoyed for a number of years.
The talk will intentionally make a few contentious
statements, in addition to those that may slip in
inadvertently, in the attempt to stir discussion
and to promote some degree of self-critique in
the inner circles of the WCETers.
